• For Staffs, New Editors

Give your staff the skills it needs to make everyone’s life easier. CSULB professors and professional journalists help with this hands-on workshop, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day. The cost for each attendee is $300.

• For Returning Editors

Explore issues experienced editors face. You name it. We’ll fix it. Work in CSULB’s journalism department computer labs and newsroom 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day. The cost for each attendee is $300.

• InDesign Workshop

From the first step to all the bells and whistles, you’ll be ready for any design challenge. Hands-on, of course from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day. The cost for each attendee is $350. (Advisers register for this course separately).

• For Advisers

Advisers may choose from Editors I and II sessions if interested. If you are new to advising, we recommend a selection from the first two workshops tailoring the topics to your needs. You will receive a notebook with selected handouts from each session along with some special pages just for you. An advisers’ room set up just for you during the week will give you the chance to discuss personal advising issues as well. The $300 fee covers your materials and “admission” to sessions I and II. The $350 fee is for the design session only. It is a separate session.
